Yups!
Finally things are setting into motion. The startup is here. Or at least the site is. Or at least the links are. Keep looking for more updates in the near future. And, keep encouragin it through the word of mouth.

FYI, the startup is mainly to organise:
- plays
- dramatics/literary weekends
- theatre workshops
- relevant talks/discussions

We also intend to contribute a lot to the theatre community. We will promote the new groups/authors through the site. Our group will serve as an NGO for the NGOs, groups for the groups. It will be a portal for the authors and their plays/scripts. It will do a lot more, soon.

Noise? Why noise?

without comments

Noise was a magazine started by some inherently active students of my Electrical Engineering deptt., at IIT Kanpur. It was very aptly named, Noise Of Inetellectually Saturated Engineers. Iliked the name a lot, and am plagiarising it now :) .

Sorry, patwari ji!

P.S. : I have heard patwari ji is in bangalore. I think I should meet him… some day.

The maid didn’t come

.. and we were stuck in the hell hole of unwashed dishes, waiting for someone who would clean at least a single pan so that we can finally satisfy our hunger with The Maggi. But no one did, and so no one ate. And they call me lazy! Oh wait, now that I remember, all of them went to Krishna Cafe and had their breakfast while I was sleeping. And yes! I am lazy!! Noooooooooooooo!
To disprove, I grabbed a popcorn ACT II, and popped them in the cooker which thankfully, had only some leftover water in it, and as per the Legendary Code of Bachelors, didn’t need to be washed. But soon, I learnt I needed something to hold them. Ah! the cooker was too hot. Idea! paper bowl!!

Voila!
(In view a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate.)
